To bCourse description: Addiction is a chronic, progressive, and relapse-prone illness that affects a person both physically and psychologically. A person can become addicted to either substance (e.g. drugs, alcohol) or to certain activities like gambling, sex, the internet, whatsup etc.
The aim of this course is to teach students the counselling skills necessary to identify, work with and refer clients for appropriate treatment.
