The course gives an outline of general aims of teacher education and secondary education. It then situates them into science education. It proceeds to tackle topics like; subject curriculum, syllabus, Scheme of work, lesson planning, methods of teaching among others in relation to teaching and learning of Agriculture. This course requires integration of content knowledge with pedagogical knowledge and technological knowledge. The course is participatory. Students should be creative and search for information about teaching methods from various sources.
