Course Description:
Methodology of teaching Geography is very vital. It is taken as special methods of how the content of Geography can be imparted into the learners effectively. The methods are taught to student teachers of BA and BSC/ ED II in semester two in preparation for their first school practice.
Course Aim:
By the end of the course, students should be able to;
a. Appreciate the role of Geography Education plays in learner’s life.
b. Explain with justification the relationship between Geography objectives, content organization and evaluation.
Demonstrate both in theory and practice that he/she is all round effective secondary geography teacher
