COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course deals with the experiential aspect of religion, it describing religious phenomena in terms that are consistent with the orientation of the worshippers. It views religion as made up of different components, and it studies these components across religious traditions in order to gain some understanding of them.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course aims at taking you through a phenomenological approach to the study of religions in the way that is consistent to the orientations of the worshippers. It seeks to guide you into a study of the different components of religion across religious traditions so that you gain understanding of them.
LEARNING OUTCOME
By the end of this course, you will be expected to be familiarized with the phenomenological approach to the study of religions in the way that is consistent with the orientation of the worshippers. You will also be expected to have gained knowledge of the different components of religion across religious traditions.
