COURSE DESCRIPTION; The course examines the physical background, position and the extent of Western Europe and Asia. It addresses the natuiral resource utilization and it examines the Economic, Social, Political activities of the regions. It also considers tne demographic aspects and the urbanisation process of the regions.
COURSE AIM; The aim of the course unit is to create students who understand the temporal and apatial consequences of man's interaction with the environment and nexplain global implications.
LEARNING OUTCOMES; By the end of the course, students should be able to;
Describe and analyse the spatioal consequences of man, the environment and their relationships and explain global implications of some important man- environment issues in the modern world.
Explain the processes operating to produce spatial patterns and structures.
Examine the various regions .systematic aspects and the geography of selected parts of both developing and the more developed world
