GENERAL TEACHING METHODS

This course gives an overview of learning theories and their implications to the teaching/learning situations, presents the various methods and strategies of teaching; explains the various theories of motivation and apply them to the teaching/learning situation; Identify the components of a scheme of work and design one; Identify the components of a lesson plan and prepare one, Discuss the various forms of assessment and identify their implications to the teaching/learning situation and challenges of teaching today.
