Law is a set of rules that are widely published, generally accepted and usually enforced. Law is a dynamic entity. Rules change over time, when circumstances change. Since this graduate teacher is not aiming at becoming a lawyer at this stage, we will only mention those things that mainly concern an educational leader. For details, the teacher will contact the lawyer and pay fees or go to Law school and become a teacher-lawyer! In the meantime find out about the current labour law. Look for UNEB Act (2022?); look out for the new law that is coming for teacher conduct and service. The bill is in Parliament. Be conversant with the new Teacher Education Policy that requires all teachers, in the next remaining 7years, to hold a university degree in education.
