Course description
Organizational psychology is a broad and complex subject. It has multiplicity of interrelated factors which influence or affect the behavior and employees’ performance at the work place. Since a number of writers have noted that the success of the organization depends on people, managers in organizations need to understand the main influence of the people’s behavior at the workplace. The behaviour of people affects the achievement of the organizational goal, therefore people have to understand that importance and effect of organizational psychology at the workplace.
Learning outcomes;
At the end of this course students will be able to ;
1. Use the knowledge and skills acquired to study and handle behaviour challenges of their employees at the workplace.
2. Understand the relationship between organizational performance and peoples’ behaviour at the organization.
3. Apply their understanding of organizational psychology at the work place.
4. Deal with different categories of people with deferent behaviours at the work place.
